THE HUNTLEY hotel debuts THE PENTHOUSE, a breathtaking restaurant and ultra lounge, with beach cabanas, open skies, silver bars, open flames. Famed designer Thomas Schoos (best known for his work on restaurants such as Koi and TAO New York/Las Vegas) has teamed up with executive chef Michael Reidt, to manifest a new visual celebration of the senses. The Penthouse features a contemporary American Menu with bold global influences. Chef Reidt who draws inspiration from the foods of Brazil, Asia and beyond, presents a menu utilizing seasonal ingredients sourced from the Santa Monica farmers markets combined with unique ingredients from across the globe. This innovative menu includes dishes such as Citrus Poached Shrimp Cocktail with Spiced Horseradish Sauce; Sugar Cane Skewered Scallops with Chili Braised Oxtail & Parsnip; Marinated Culotte Steak; Frites & Bacon Chimichurri and Dolche de Leite de Carina with Crumbled Oreos & Caramel-Balsamic Ice Cream. Along with dinner, The Penthouse offers breakfast and lunch and a playful lounge menu.
